Steeped in tradition, this inn housed in a handsome building from 1822 presents an appealing two-in-one concept: Die Land Brasserie and Löwen Gourmet. Under the direction of Jonas Ingold, the latter serves an eight-course set menu for a maximum of 10 diners in the evening. A vegetarian version is also available. Great emphasis is placed on seasonality, with many ingredients sourced from the local region. Service is very friendly and adept. In summer, tables on the tranquil terrace to the rear of the building, which overlooks the old village church, are coveted. For a pleasingly down-to-earth alternative, head to the Brasserie, which specialises in regional fare.
