Fou du Goût manages to be both chic and cosy, with the beautiful glass conservatory being the best spot in the house. Thomas Cocquyt has a penchant for giving familiar flavours an exotic twist – chicken cooked in a spicy masala sauce, or pan-fried plaice with smoked eel and a beurre blanc infused with a yuzu gel for a burst of citrus brightness. This chef is a master of balancing bold flavours with a touch of intrigue. A perennial favourite in the Meetjesland region!
