Not far from Copenhagen City Hall, in an old building on a bustling street, you’ll find the French sister of Norrlyst and Theo. Set on the mezzanine floor, it has a comforting vintage feel courtesy of wooden bistro furnishings, ceiling fans and white clothed, candlelit tables – and the packed room attests as to both its quality and its value. Carefully prepared, classically based dishes include the likes of soupe à l'oignon with caramelised onion and thyme; seared cod fillet with leek, potato and lobster bisque; and their speciality, beef tartare – all of which can be accompanied by exclusively French wines.
