Bib Gourmand: good quality, good value cooking
Small Shop
Tucked away in a quiet residential area, this is the place for authentic Vietnamese snacks and noodle soup. The owner-chef learnt the trade in France, where his family had a Vietnamese restaurant. In his signature phở, U.S. Angus beef and Danish pork combine magically with beef shank bone broth that simmers for over 16 hours. Deceptively simple looking snacks like spring rolls and bánh cuốn taste addictively good. Always busy; expect to queue.
