This 150-year-old inn is already an institution in the neighbourhood. Owner Michael "Michi" Naschberger and head chef Milan Hurt are now at the helm, and have introduced a pleasingly relaxed and informal atmosphere, while preserving the traditional charm of the place. Tyrolean cuisine with high standards is the name of the game, eg "Beef Tartare Tischlerwirt" or "grilled veal liver, apple, bacon and onion sauce, parsnip". Rustic wood and a decorative fireplace retain the traditional charm, injected with the odd modern touch. Head for the delightful terrace in front of the house.
