Then there is the fabulously chic decor and the cuisine proposed by Sascha Kemmerer, who trained under Ortwin Adam, recipient of a star in 1978 in the original Ifen Hotel. He wins diners over with his outstanding craftsmanship and his knack for balancing dishes, as is apparent, for example, in the harmonious flavours of his delicate, perfectly cooked chicken breast served with a subtle tandoori spice blend. Drawing on locally sourced ingredients, he also looks beyond the borders of Kleinwalsertal. In addition to the set menu, there is also a small selection of à la carte dishes, including some appealing meals for two. The chef likes to get in on the act and serve one or two courses himself.
