This family-run shop is tucked away in a narrow alley. It takes a little effort to find, but you’ll well be rewarded by tasty beef noodle soups. First-timers may go for bún bò thập cẩm (mixed beef noodle soup), a great way to sample all four toppings of beef and pork, boasting robust meaty flavours. The sweet broth with great depth is made from beef meat and bones alongside herbs like lemongrass. Add a dollop of chilli sauce for added whoomph.
