One of the stalwarts of the Finnieston dining scene, The Gannet is a proper neighbourhood restaurant run by a close-knit team. There are playful elements to the ambitious cooking and dishes are visually impressive throughout. Lunch is a fixed-price 3 course menu, with a tasting menu – also available in a vegetarian version – showing the full breadth of the kitchen’s talents in the evening. Desserts like Scottish strawberries with miso and meringue are a highlight.
