Open only from 10am to 2pm, this neighbourhood joint on a quiet street is inspired by the 1980s – ceiling fans, a vintage fridge in mint green, wooden benches and other knick-knacks bring back all the memories. Similarly, the short menu also covers old-time local favourites, such as steamed rice dressed in lard and spiced soy, noodle soup with peas, crispy meat sauce or braised beef shin.
