Occupying an intimate small dining room on the first floor of the elegant Corinthia Palace Hotel, this restaurant, whose name is that of a local orange variety, offers two tasting menus (“The villages journey” and “Plant Based”), as well as an à la carte. The offerings are inspired by the local culture, taking guests on an extended journey through the island’s different villages with a note relating to each specific area accompanying each dish. Despite having its roots firmly based in local tradition, the cuisine looks resolutely to the future and will be especially appreciated by those who enjoy complex and elaborate dishes, crafted with unique combinations of ingredients. The new chef ensures continuity with the past, especially since he is the sous chef who has been promoted to the top role. In short, a cuisine in style, well-suited to the hotel hosting it.
