MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

The omakase set menu is based on classical kaiseki cuisine. Keeping in mind the Kyoto culture of traditional events, the owner-chef comes up with ideas for presenting the food based on the seasons. The hassun is beautiful in appearance as well. The meal features various dishes, including takikomi-gohan, tai chazuke and nigiri. The usucha brewed and served at the end by the tea ceremony-loving owner-chef will truly soothe the soul.
