MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

The owner-chef’s path to Italian cuisine was by following in his father’s footsteps. He learned the characteristics of northern Italian cuisine from him and trained in Sicily and other parts of southern Italy. He serves mainly Mediterranean cuisine, which emphasises the natural flavours of seafood. The karasumi pasta is an original creation featuring mini tomatoes and shallot sauce, and the ‘Matalotta’ white-fleshed fish stew is a traditional Sicilian dish.
