A historical establishment founded in 1883 and run by the Rostang family since 1996, Le Dessirier is an elegant contemporary brasserie specialising in fish and seafood. Chef Olivier Fontaine cooks up precise and flavoursome cuisine, in which tradition meets modernity: minced scallops and truffles, bouillabaisse, cod aioli, or squid with Coco de Paimpol beans and seasonal mushrooms. Oysters and shellfish are the final flourish on the menu. For dessert, the chocolate soufflé is an ode to tradition. A buzzing, upscale venue firmly rooted in Paris.
