Fricska has been reborn, only this time with a slight speakeasy vibe. Its unassuming exterior gives nothing away, but downstairs you’ll find a bright and trendy bar-cum-restaurant with a modern bistro feel. The food is a perfect match, with traditional dishes lightened and modernised to take on an appealingly fresh style. The lunch menu is a steal and the chocolate soufflé is a sure-fire hit. Service is smooth and attentive, and the friendly team will happily guide you through the fully Hungarian wine list.
