MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

A chef, a sommelier and a bartender who all met in New Zealand bring their various talents to this restaurant. The theme is seasonal cuisine respectful of the natural environment, and the ingredients are vegetables from the Ohara district of Kyoto and other domestically grown produce. This is genre-less cuisine full of creativity and it features fermentation techniques that the chef learnt in Denmark, as well as wood-fire cooking.
