In this French-Italian bistro, red oak panelling and vintage 1960s furniture meet, creating a modern, pared-back and inviting decor. When it comes to the food, Italian inspiration is added to French foundations in a short seasonal menu. The technique is confident, the ingredients are top-notch, and the sourcing is watertight. The dishes are clear, colourful and bursting with flavour – a case in point is the delicate and fragrant "veil" of pumpkin with confit egg yolk, ginger, ricotta and rosemary, or the delicious house-made tortelloni with mozzarella, confit tomato and basil, topped with a tomato and pepper sauce with herbs.
