Don’t be fooled by the cliché of a tightly packed neighbourhood eatery with an extensive menu and mainly Asian clientele, because Car Bon has plenty of other succulent appeals up its sleeve. The food is authentic, with a focus on the Sichuan region. Wonton pork and veal with a chili oil that adds a subtle spicy note. Gutsy, light and assertive all at once, Chinese cuisine that hits the spot every time. Don’t forget to book!
