Run with great dedication in the heart of the old Rohrbach district, this lovely traditional restaurant has a cosy interior featuring a blend of traditional and modern elements. Chef Ole Hake's ambitious dishes are made with carefully selected regional ingredients, for example excellent game. His commitment to sustainability is palpable. The seasonal seven-course set menu comes in an omnivore or vegan version. There is also a well-curated wine list with an emphasis on German labels. These can also be enjoyed in the wine bar with snacks or a light meal. Tip for motorists: the public car park at the nearby Thorax Clinic is convenient.

"We aim to combine pleasurable dining and sustainability!! That's why we only serve meat that has been hunted within a radius of 100km, freshwater fish from the Rhine and the Odenwald, and follow the principle of nose-to-tail eating. We serve wines from the region, we care about our employees' work-life balance, and we make a point of saving energy!"
