If you want to make a reservation here, you'll have to be quick! The urban-minimalist restaurant has only a few tables, and they are in high demand. In the open kitchen, a pescetarian set menu comprising 10 small courses is devised. The creative dishes – eg "oyster, potato and gooseberry" or "king oyster mushroom, radicchio and elderflower" – may appear minimalist at first glance, but they are complex and full of detail. A vegetarian variant of the set menu is also available. They set great store by select seasonal ingredients, the majority of which are sourced from suppliers operating just outside of Hamburg – you can read about all of them in the book ("Freundebuch") the restaurant has put together. The well-curated wine list is worth browsing; wine pairings, or house-made alcohol-free pairings, have been devised to accompany the set menu.
