This is the first restaurant of the Cafeína Group, boasting over 25 years of operation. Set on a corner between Rua do Padrão and Rua Gondarém, it occupies an old villa that retains its façade of tiles, still in pristine condition. Upon entering, you’ll find a classy, refined setting, marked by dark woods and warm hues, along with a traditionally styled bar. The bistronomie concept that defines it is clearly influenced by French cuisine, while also revisiting Portuguese dishes with a contemporary twist. Although the menu is packed with appealing options, ranging from puff pastry lobster soup to duck rice, be sure to save room for the “Cafeína classic”, the Crepe queimado (Crepe flambée), prepared with surprising flavours and textures.
