In the heart of what was once the Uruguay Pavilion at Expo 2015, a design structure that catches the eye with the view of the first mountains on the horizon, is a large room celebrating South American cuisine. The centrepiece of this culinary experience is the open grill, where barbecued meat reigns supreme. Sourced from certified and guaranteed Uruguayan farms, the raw material is subjected to rigorous control throughout the production chain. The parillero, a master of charcoal grilling, uses his technique to enhance the flavours and maintain the tenderness of the top-quality cuts. The wine cellar is full of Uruguayan and Italian wines, as well as typical beers and liqueurs, offering the perfect accompaniment for each dish.
