Housed in the Old Town of this UNESCO World Heritage city is the intimate and luxurious Prijeko Palace Hotel. Its restaurant, Stara Loza, is almost three in one – there’s a street level terrace, a formal restaurant on the third floor and a delightful open terrace right at the top which affords great views. Cooking is Mediterranean in heart, with plenty of depth and flavour. The veal risotto is a must-try and be sure to save room for dessert, which is always a highlight.
