MICHELIN Star Table Experience Abu Dhabi 2022 & 2023

The first-ever MICHELIN Star Table Experience Abu Dhabi, taking place from 7-16 December 2022 and 6-7 January 2023, features three special ‘four-hands’ dinners curated by local chefs and international MICHELIN-starred restaurant chefs.

To celebrate the local dining offerings of Abu Dhabi, the MICHELIN Guide and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) invite you to travel the world through your palate.

The MICHELIN Star Table Abu Dhabi will present a gastronomic programme comprised of expertly crafted four-hands dinners and masterclasses—brought together by bring together local talents and international guest chefs, including MICHELIN-starred restaurant chefs Umberto Bomana of 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo - Bombana, Ricardo Chaneton of Mono, and Manav Tuli of Chaat.

Latin American Series: 9-10 December 2022

Mono (One MICHELIN Star): Helmed by Venezuelan chef Ricardo Chaneton, one-MICHELIN-starred Mono reinterprets Latin American cuisine with the chef’s French culinary roots with a mission to promote refined Latin American gastronomic culture.

Vakava (MICHELIN Selected): A Pan-Latin grill and lounge led by Mexican chef Richard Sandoval, Vakava champions modern Mexican, Latin-Asian, Peruvian and Pan-Latin cuisines using inventive cooking techniques.

For this collaboration, the team will take you on a journey across the different terrains of Latin America with classics reimagined using ingredients that are native to the region.

Asian Series: 15-16 December 2022

Chaat (One MICHELIN Star): ‘Chaat’ means ‘to lick’ in Hindi, as the food here is so good that you’d have the urge to lick the plate. Helmed by chef Manav Tuli, Chaat covers classics from all over India, re-imagined with finesse and acumen.

Dai Pai Dong (MICHELIN Selected): Celebrating authentic Cantonese cuisine, guests can savour Chinese specialties from chef Nie Dong, who brings his own creativity to homemade noodles, dim sum and barbecued meats.

For this collaboration, the chefs have come together to highlight favourites from the Cantonese and Indian cuisines enlivened with creative twists and unexpected flavours.

European Series: 6-7 January 2023

8 ½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana (Three MICHELIN Stars): The first Italian chef to receive three MICHELIN Stars outside of Italy, owner-chef Umberto Bombana’s cuisine oozes Italian charm and passion on every level. The Italian classics are made with the best ingredients and the cooking showcases their true flavours.

Talea By Antonio Guida (One MICHELIN Star): Helmed by Guida’s protégé and MICHELIN Young Chef Award winner Luigi Stinga, Talea has been awarded one MICHELIN Star in the MICHELIN Guide Abu Dhabi 2023 and features a highly-curated selection of seasonal and authentic Italian products served in an elegant, yet casual atmosphere.

For this collaboration, the chefs have come together to present the best of Italian cuisine with ingredients from Italy and celebrate the truffle season with homemade pasta and Italian favourites.
