With knotty pine tables, well-worn plank floors and a wood-burning oven, the space is delightful. A perch at the chef’s counter affords a great view of the action. Here, Chef Ari Weiswasser showcases his signature style via the use of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern ingredients. Imagine wood-roasted asparagus with lavash crackers and shaved radish over a tangy hen egg emulsion; or chicken cooked under a brick with coconut curry and sticky rice.
