MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Jeffrey Stout is at the helm of this international small-plates spot, where a wall-to-wall crowd of loyal followers flock despite the humble shopping-center environs. Polished yet casual with a big front bar and patio, a meal here is best enjoyed with a group—so come prepared to max out the menu.

The menu spins in a number of directions, but this team won't steer your wrong. Kick it off with a cocktail, then tuck into a hodge-podge of dishes, including a riff on poutine with tater tots, muenster cheese, bacon and fried egg; and a spicy budae jjigae with slurpy ramen noodles and Spam. Served in a cast iron pan, the orange dream pulls together soft serve, kiwi, honey cream and poppy seed for an unusual twist on the ice cream truck favorite.
