Only in France — or, to be precise, in the French Overseas Collectivity of Saint Martin, in the Caribbean — can you find boutique hotels that place quite so much emphasis on relaxing in style. Le Temps de Cerises is a denim brand, oddly enough, but Le Temps de Cerises Beach Hotel stands on its own as a boutique lodging, set right on the beach at Grand Case, and its eight rooms combine artfully composed interior design and splendid beachfront views. This may not be the climate for jeans, exactly, but the hotel’s boutique does carry a full range of beachwear.
