The Drayton Hotel
Saturated colors and eclectic decoration mark both the public spaces and the 50 rooms and suites; the latter have impressive views of the river, the City Hall building, and the streets of the surrounding neighborhood. And despite their rotary-style phones and timeless tastefulness, the rooms come equipped with all the requisite luxury-boutique standards, from Tivoli bedside speakers to high-end linens and bath products.
Downstairs, the atmosphere is a convivial one, with the sunlit ground-floor Saint Neo’s Brasserie serving seafood and southern fare, and the Cocktail Lounge plying its trade in the suitably romantic half-light of the hotel’s basement. And there’s action upstairs as well; the Rooftop is just what it sounds like, offering evening drinks with panoramic views of the river and the city.

The Drayton is located in the historic district of Savannah. The hotel decor is fantastic, and the rooms were sizable and comfortable. The breakfast was included and was tasty (try the grits). There is a roof deck for an evening drink. The restaurant was excellent. The staff were all extremely helpful, going above and beyond to help with transportation, restaurant reservations and tour recommendations. Overall, a truly wonderful experience. We cannot envision staying anywhere else in Savannah.

The Drayton was absolutely fantastic! Location was great, the hotel itself was beautiful but it was the staff who really made this a special trip. They were knowledgeable, engaging and fun. They provided a personalized walking tour and even had Byrd's cookies waiting for us at check-in. Be sure to spend some time at the rooftop bar, the cocktails are amazing.
Hipper than most in Savannah. Nice decor. Friendly staff. Restaurant looked good - but closed due to Covid. Rooftop bar was a nice addition. Twin room a little cramped.
