Modesty is an appealing attribute, and Villa Cosy’s name, it turns out, significantly undersells it. This is no bed and breakfast but a proper luxury boutique hotel, complete with a Sothys spa and not one but three villas, in addition to its selection of swanky rooms and suites. Every one has a private terrace, and all of them combine organic textures, soothing neutral tones, and luxe contemporary design. There’s an outdoor pool flanked by lounge chairs as well as an adults-only “Zen area” in the garden where day beds surround a ten-person hot tub. The Cosy Bar serves cocktails, wine, and Champagne in a space that opens onto the hotel’s expansive wine cellar; the livelier corners of Saint-Tropez are just minutes away.
