Izza captures the freewheeling spirit of 1970s Marrakech, when rockstars, poets, and designers flocked to the medina in search of beauty and escape. Behind its unassuming doors lie seven interlinked riads, reimagined with intricate tilework, sculpted plaster, and an art collection that is an ode as much to the future as the past. Each of the 14 rooms tells a different story, drawing on the lives of artists who once called the city home. There is a spa, a plunge pool, a rooftop bar, and a sense that the party never quite ended.
