Modern Design 和 Secluded
Two MICHELIN Keys · An exceptional stay
Originally designed by the American architect Ed Tuttle, whose work all across Southeast Asia is familiar to luxury aficionados, Amanjena bears a distinct (and entirely appropriate) Moorish influence. And like any Tuttle production, it takes landscaping just as seriously as built architecture — to call it an oasis is scarcely an exaggeration. As is typical for Aman, an understated but thoroughly impressive contemporary luxury carries the day, both in the design and in the amenities.

A subtle 2025 renovation leaves Amanjena looking as sharp as ever; its free-standing villas and pavilions are a finely judged blend of Moroccan tradition and modern-luxe sophistication. Spaces are generous, to say the least, from the three-bedroom pavilions on down to the one-bedroom villas. Bathrooms are particularly remarkable, in green Moroccan marble with deep soaking tubs; many units feature private pools.

Naturally, wellness is an area of particular focus; here you’ll find a well-equipped spa alongside a fitness center, two clay tennis courts, and a pair of pools, one reserved for adults only. Dining venues include high-end Italian and Moroccan options, and in classic Aman style private dinners can be arranged in a multitude of locations both on site and off.

How to get there: Amanjena is approximately a 20-minute drive from Marrakech-Menara Airport and 2½ hours from Casablanca-Mohammed V International Airport. Amanjena provides airport transfers from both locations for an additional fee.
