Steps from the white sand on Kuta Beach, MAMAKA by Ovolo is a luxury hotel with a youthful spirit. So youthful, in fact, that the list of complimentary amenities — self-service laundry, morning coffee, happy-hour drinks — might remind you of the nicest hostel you stayed at on your last backpacking trip. While there’s no doubt the destination attracts a fresh-faced crowd intent on surfing all day and sipping tropical drinks all night, the hotel’s traveler-friendly offerings are standard across the Ovolo brand, and the sociable, why-not-stay-a-while vibe works particularly well at the group’s Bali outpost.
