Doric is the architectural style displayed by the seven ruined structures of the UNESCO-listed Valley of the Temples, which stands on the outskirts of Agrigento, mere minutes away. And Doric Eco Boutique Resort & Spa, from whose rooms and suites the Temple of Juno is visible, offers stylish relaxation with this unique scene as a backdrop.
The rooms and suites are crisp and contemporary, and furnished with outdoor lounge space, featuring either plunge pools, hot tubs, or Jacuzzis. For those of a traditional bent, a 19th-century farmhouse is available as well, and sleeps up to 8. Among the resort amenities are a spa and wellness center and a gym with a view, as well as a shop selling agricultural products from the Doric farm. And the restaurant is a versatile one, serving everything from a hearty Sicilian breakfast to a dinner artfully composed from local ingredients.
