Situated on the grounds of a rural bathhouse whose origins date back to the 16th century, the Hotel Bad Schörgau is a luxury hotel and spa that preserves the traditions of rural bathing culture alongside a thoroughly contemporary approach to style and comfort. Guests choose from the minimalist, clean interiors of the main house and the modern Alpine design of the Wood Hotel, built in 2002. The spa offers an enormous range of treatments, including floating baths and jet treatments using water from the hotel’s own spring. Diners, meanwhile, are spoiled for choice, from the Michelin-starred Restaurant Alpes, which offers avant-garde approaches to authentic Tyrolean cuisine, to La Fuga, a “laboratory of future gastronomy,” offering a truly unique menu.
