If you’re looking for an elegant restaurant in a stunning location, The View will definitely fit the bill thanks to its clifftop setting boasting spectacular vistas of the azure Mediterranean and the islet of Es Vedrà, particularly at dusk, when the sun merges with the deep blue hue of the sea and dips gently below the horizon. Chef Óscar Salazar’s cuisine takes the form of well-executed dishes that are able to capture the full essence of the Mediterranean, starting from a strong commitment to local ingredients (red mullet, Ibizan red prawns, sustainably fished tuna, lamb from the island etc). Dining choices here include the à la carte, two tasting menus (a shorter version entitled Esencia del Mediterráneo, and a longer Sabor del Mediterráneo option) and, to cater to all tastes, the Experiencia Vegetariana. The live DJ in the chillout section is completely in keeping with the typical party vibe that is so typical of Ibiza.
