a.lea is the quintessence of appetising bistronomic cuisine: creamy soft-boiled egg, cream of green peas, apricots, feta and verbena; duckling breast, sweet potatoes, blood orange, mild curry seasoning and gravy… Chef Léa’s spot-on recipes demonstrate a market-fresh slant with a bargain-priced lunchtime (including Saturdays) menu. More elaborate and polished in the evenings. The front-of-house experience is in the capable hands of William Atlan, also a chef.
