MICHELIN GUIDE HONG KONG | MACAU 2025
What our Inspectors say: Japanese and Nordic cuisines enjoy a natural affinity as they both boast a subtractive form of cooking that focuses on subtle, natural flavours. Through precise execution and the insistence on using top quality ingredients, the two come together in the form of balanced and intriguing set menus at this understatedly stylish restaurant. The chef’s Finnish background is reflected in the lingonberries that accompany the pigeon and the horseradish that accentuates the scallop and peas.

MICHELIN GUIDE TAIWAN 2024
What our Inspectors say: The Latin "circum-" is related to "circle", a symbol of wholeness and unity in Chinese culture. The young kitchen team traces the footsteps of Chinese emigrants throughout history, exploring how their food culture changes over time and territories. Inspired by classic recipes, childhood memories and anecdotes collected overseas, they deliver an engaging dining experience based on literature, narratives and solid French technique.

MICHELIN GUIDE SINGAPORE 2024
What our Inspectors say: Synonymous with quality steaks with big flavours, celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck is a seal of confidence for this outpost of his famed namesake in LA. Here steaks are expertly seasoned, chargrilled and finished off under a 1200-degree broiler to leave them juicy and tender. Don’t forget to order the amazing onion rings with your steak. The wine list offers over 650 labels and a cocktail at the bar while waiting for your table adds to the experience.

MICHELIN GUIDE KYOTO | OSAKA 2025
What our Inspectors say: This is the place to sample modern Mexican cuisine. Respect for the traditions of the motherland are palpable as Japanese ingredients and modern techniques move the genre forward. Corn, the staple food, along with cacao and chili peppers, is sourced from Mexico, and, following tradition, the food is cooked over a wood-fired grill. Milpa is the name in the Nahuatl (Aztec) language for a farming system that enriches the earth; the chef likens cooking techniques to farming, cultivating a new Mexican culinary culture in Osaka.

MICHELIN GUIDE SINGAPORE 2024
What our Inspectors say: The contemporary room is divided into three sections: a counter with seats, private rooms and the chef’s table. To stay close to the action, opt for the latter. Dinner features one sitting only with a choice between traditional and seasonal menus. Ingredients are of high quality and the food is nicely crafted. In addition to typical Japanese fare, some dishes are underscored by Western techniques with a pronounced Italian accent at times.
