MICHELIN Guide Singapore Gastrobar Pop-Ups

In the first-ever MICHELIN Guide Gastrobar Pop-ups series, MICHELIN Guide Singapore, in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board, is inviting you to travel the world through your palate.

Four bars and four MICHELIN-recommended restaurants have been carefully selected to showcase the variety and international diversity of Singapore’s F&B scene, while highlighting local ingredients in innovative ways. Each pop-up will be held over two days, where the collaborators will present 3-5 handcrafted cocktails paired with specially created dishes. 

4: SOUTHEAST ASIA - Labyrinth m x Native (SOLD OUT)

(23rd & 24th March, 2021: Session 1 - 6:00PM - 8:00PM, Session 2 - 8:30PM - 10:30PM)

Labyrinth: Helmed by Chef LG Han, Labyrinth is the modern take on Singaporean cuisine, showcasing modern techniques and reinterpretations of local Singaporean flavours and dishes which encapsulate memories of growing up in Singapore.

Native: is a champion of hyper local ingredients from Singapore and Southeast Asia. It’s selection of Asian-inspired cocktails has grown significantly, while all things local means the team forages at every opportunity.

For this collaboration: The team will be highlighting and bringing reinterpretations of local regional classics and flavours to take you on a journey of discovery of what’s readily available in our backyards and beyond.

3: NORDIC & JAPANESE - Zén mm x No Sleep Club (SOLD OUT)

(16th, 17th & 18th  March: Session 1 - 6:00PM - 8:00PM, Session 2 - 8:30PM - 10:30PM)

Zén: A Singaporean outpost of 3-MICHELIN Star Frantzén in Stockholm, Zén is a slice of Scandinavia in Singapore who offers Nordic produce, cooking technique and cuisine at its heart.

No Sleep Club: Founders of No Sleep Club Juan Yijun and Jessica Hutchinson have described the space as neither café nor restaurant nor bar, yet all of the above. Here you’ll discover killer coffee, an approachable all-day menu and a selection of reimagined classic cocktails with an emphasis on flavour and modern techniques.

For this collaboration: Chef Tristin Farmer will explore the idea of infusing Japanese elements into functional, and minimal Scandinavian aesthetics and cooking techniques, while the team at No Sleep Club will be working in step with Zén to curate a complementary course of drinks, putting the best flavours forward.

2: LATIN AMERICA - OLA Cocina Del Mar ‹ x Junior The Pocket Bar (SOLD OUT)

(9th & 10th March, 2021: Session 1 - 6:00PM - 8:00PM, Session 2 - 8:30PM - 10:30PM)

OLA Cocina Del Mar: is a contemporary Spanish restaurant helmed by Latin American born chef Daniel Chavez. chef Daniel cut his teeth working at world-famous kitchens before landing in Singapore to serve simpler food in a more relaxed setting.

Junior the Pocket Bar: is a platform to showcase Singapore’s most beloved terrains and traditions in the world of cocktails and spirits through intimate, authentic experiences.

For this collaboration: Chef Daniel will team up with his partner Tamara who hails from two generations of F&B veterans in Mexico City and Joe Alessandroni's team at Junior to bring a culinary journey across the different terrains of the Latin American continent. Expect an enlightening time, as the team deep dives into the history of the continent and education about Latin American ingredients.

1: ITALY - Buona Terra m x Tess Bar & Kitchen (FINISHED)

(2nd & 3rd March, 2021: Session 1 - 6:00PM - 8:00PM, Session 2 - 8:30PM - 10:30PM)

Buona Terra: is a sophisticated Italian restaurant headed by Lombardy-born Chef Denis Lucchi. He strives to serve contemporary dishes assembled from ingredients throughout the region bringing reinterpretations of traditional dishes.

Tess Bar: is a modern open space designed with industrial chic. The bar is helmed by Ms. Christyne Lee, a multiple award-winning bartender, who provides a combination of modern classics as well as bespoke cocktails for the truly adventurous.

For this collaboration: The team will re-explore some classic Italian highlights, showcasing a modern take on the classic Italian dishes with a local twist with each cocktail consisting of an Italian inspired alcohol.

Gastrobar Pop-up Ticket Terms & Conditions: 
1. Prices are inclusive of GST and service charge.
2. Only diners with a valid confirmation email & shopify order number will be entitled to the Gastrobar Pop-Up experience at the stated date and time.
3. Payment must be completed to secure your seats.
4. For group sizes more than 6 guests, please email events-sg@guide.michelin.com
5. For changes in reservation, please email events-sg@guide.michelin.com
6. No change in reservation can be made less than 72 hours prior to dining.
7. No exchanges or refunds on Gastrobar Pop-Up tickets will be made under any circumstances.
8. Seats will be allocated at the restaurant's discretion and may be subjected to change without prior notice.
9. All transactions are subjected to charges, conversions and fees imposed by your card issuing bank. The local currency rate indicated is approximate at the time of publishing.
10. Any additional food or beverages that are not included in the Gastrobar Pop-Up menu will be charged by the establishment directly.
