In 2016, Chef Ishibashi joined the team at an exciting new edomae concept in Singapore, Shoukouwa Sushi Restaurant, and an impressive 4 months after opening its doors, became the only Japanese restaurant in Singapore to be awarded 2 Michelin stars. Named as an oasis of stillness, serenity and harmony, two-Michelin-starred Shoukouwa Sushi Restaurant offers guests an authentic, world-class fine dining edomae sushi experience, in an intimate space of tranquil elegance. To maintain its fine cuisine standards, Shoukouwa presents omakase-style menus subject to the availability of the freshest and finest seasonal produce.
