MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View
This old stone farmstead smothered in Virginia creeper and set in wooded grounds is home to the new restaurant of Emmanuel Kouri, previously encountered at Les Climats (Paris, 7th arrondissement). Mindful of the provenance of his produce (line-caught fish, organic market gardening, the local dairy), he conjures up fish and seafood-focused dishes, such as shellfish with broccoli and lemon butter, or scallops with pistachio and lime sabayon. To be enjoyed on the shaded terrace in fine weather.
