Before opening this popular restaurant in an old market town, Stuart and Frances Collins spent many years working overseas, and their tasting menu reflects their travels, offering imaginative dishes underpinned by a strong classical base. Frances is a natural hostess, and the enthusiasm of the service team is palpable. The chickpea chips are a must-order.
