Father and son help each other in this eatery. The name is a combination of both their names, signifying the bond between them. Decoratively arranged sashimi is garnished with malted rice soy sauce and salt mixed with shaved bonito and kombu kelp flour. The hassun appetiser, dubbed ‘Rakumori’, is an assortment running from snacks that complement sake to cooked vegetable salads and boiled greens—a feast for both eyes and palate. And through it all, the flavour of home cooking soothes and reassures.
