The Grand Hotel Parker’s has overlooked all this splendid clamor since 1870, perched prominently on Corso Vittorio Emanuele above palm trees and rooftops. Rooms and suites are traditionally stately, decorated with Empire-style antiques, and many offer stunning views of Naples and its gulf, Mount Vesuvius, and Capri.
Bathrooms are masterpieces in Italian marble. Nine suites feature a two-story layout, making them feel more like private apartments — ideal for longer stays.
The public spaces are equally refined, but the best is saved for last: two rooftop terraces, both deliriously elegant spots to soak in the cityscape. One of these terraces, lined with a colonnade of Muse-shaped iron lampposts, belongs to the acclaimed George Restaurant. A second venue, the Bidder Terrace — Cocktails & All-Day Dining — serves traditional cuisine and features the historic Bidder Bar, a true temple of mixology offering unique cocktails.
