It is located in the fabulous Cliff Bay hotel! This restaurant, just like its “older sibling” (the two-Michelin-starred Il Gallo d’Oro), enjoys truly spectacular views, with the coast and the boundless Atlantic as its backdrop, and is overseen by Chef João Luz. Here, through an extensive menu and a tasting menu called Innovation (both options are available in a varied vegetarian version), the focus is on seasonal Mediterranean cooking and the concept of “comfort food,” emphasising the inherent philosophy of sharing dishes. We really enjoyed the Algarve red prawn, with melon, crustacean tapioca, citrus fruits and galangal!
