MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

The owner-chef makes the most of his Osaka location to provide traditional Naniwa vegetables. He develops creative ideas based on study of the old: something he cultivated during his training. For example, the fragrance and soft texture of Mishima udo is paired with clam dashi to make nimono. Chargrilled seafood is another draw. There are also delightful seasonal decorations on the plates such as cherry blossoms in spring and persimmon leaves in autumn.
