Two Stars: Excellent cooking
Chef Toshihiko Furuta’s style is to welcome just one party per service and offer a unique menu. Guests are asked for their preferences when they book; he then procures ingredients from different regions. Cooking techniques are not confined to Japanese ones; keen to bring smiles to everyone, the restaurant happily accommodates requests for Western styles. Special effort is paid to wagyu beef, which is placed on the grill when the guests cross the threshold. Considerate service enhances the feeling of a special occasion.
