MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

Nearly two decades after the Bulgari Hotel Milan, the Roman luxury jeweler has come home, to a monumental 1930s building on the Piazza Augusto Imperatore. Like the other Bulgari hotels its architecture and interiors are the work of modern masters Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel; like anything Bulgari touches the experience is thoroughly high-end. The look here in Rome is, appropriately, warmer and sunnier than its Milanese counterpart; the spa, with its jaw-dropping Bisazza mosaic tile pool, is nothing short of spectacular, while the equally impressive Il Ristorante – Niko Romito is joined by a handful of bars and lounges.
