This stylishly furnished restaurant housed in an attractive 13C castle serves contemporary international cuisine with Mediterranean and Asian influences. At lunchtime choose between the "Business Lunch" deal and the four-course "Sorpresa" set menu; in the evening, they serve a four- to six-course "Emozione" tasting menu – or you can dine à la carte, which includes a vegetarian alternative. Under the direction of the dedicated sommelier, the service is friendly and proficient. In summer, the terrace is inviting. The hotel area beautifully combines modern and historical features. Tip: There is covered parking next door; if you prefer to get here by tram, line 10 stops right by the castle grounds. The narrow River Birsig also flows past here.
