Serving just 4 types of noodles, along with a few sides during the day and a menu of home-style dishes at dinner, this shop urges diners to slow down and mindfully savour their clean, simple flavour. Freshly wrapped wontons are dressed in red oil or served in seafood broth. Also look for the hawker carts where steamed rice cakes with red bean filling are made. The complementary ‘Laoying’ laurel tea is perfect to round out their sweetness.
