MICHELIN Guide’s Point Of View

The owner-chef was trained by the master chef of a restaurant that follows the ‘Naniwa kappo’ tradition. He prepares dishes on the spot according to his customer’s requests. There are a variety of seasonal items on the menu; his speciality is lotus root manju. The ‘Tenjin Kobai Mushi’ is apricot-flavoured chawanmushi inspired by the Osaka Temmangu Shrine. The hospitality provided by the polite chef and cooks also makes for an enjoyable experience.
