The Norman seaside town of Trouville-sur-Mer is home to a few neoclassical grand hotels, the finest of which is Les Cures Marines, a 1912-vintage palace whose silhouette remains familiar but whose interiors have undergone extensive renovations. Fear not — the style, however contemporary, hasn’t lost touch with its Belle Époque roots, and the comforts, both inside and outside of its 103 rooms and suites, remain true to the original concept of Les Cures Marines as a place for restoration. The spa and thalassotherapy offerings are as extensive as you’d expect, and the restaurant and brasserie are highly regarded.
